Where Women Gather will meet again on October 20, 2013 at the Millarville Community Church from 1pm – 4pm.
Remember to bring your projects to work on for the first half of the afternoon. Beth will begin her story at roughly 2:30pm.
Those who are participating in the quilt don’t forget to bring your first section.
We are calling women to gather from all walks of life to come and do their “craft”! Whatever interests you, here is a place where you can bring your favourite creative pastime – whether it’s knitting, or quilting, or crocheting, or scrapbooking, or sewing, or folk painting, or embroidery, or popsicle stick crafts – bring it along and work on whatever you like at your own pace. Get help from others who have already learned how to knit the heel into a sock, or who know how to put the binding on a quilt, or would like to learn something from you in your area of interest.
We will have tables set up to work on. There will be a casual lunch – crock pot soup or wraps – and lots of time for hanging out with each other in a relaxed and happy environment.
We start at 1 PM, just come as soon as you are able and don’t worry if you can’t make it by 1 PM – just come as soon as you can.
At 3 PM, we’ll take a break from our crafts and gather for a story from the Bible told by Beth. For those interested, Jan has prepared a quilt to go along with the stories and will reveal a new section of the quilt each month.
Our program will run on the 3rd Sunday of every month (except September – which will be this Sunday, Sept 22) from 1 PM – 4 PM.
Feel free to bring your friends, daughters, mothers, grandmothers, & aunts.

Where Women Gather is a project based group that celebrates all types of handwork with the artful telling of a story. There will be a featured quilting block of the month that accompanies the stories.
This group will meet the third Sunday of the month (from September – June) from 1:00 – 4:00pm at the Millarville Community Church with the story beginning at about 2:30.
The first Gathering will be September 22, 2013.
