Johnson’s Sewing Centre & Quilter’s Dream in Edmonton is happy to announce that Ricky Tims will be here on Thursday, April 9th, 2015. He will be presenting three seminars during the day and doing one of his awesome evening performances.
We are now selling ADVANCE Tickets for $175.00 for the event, which includes two coffee breaks, a luncheon, plus the seminars and performance. After February 1st this price goes up to $225. There are also individual tickets for the evening event available.
The seminars he is presenting are titled: (1) Convergence Quilt and Kool Kaleidoscope Quilts; (2) Rhapsody Quilts; and (3) Grand Finale: Just a Quilting Fool.

Reminder: Guild Meeting January 10, 2015
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas.
It was lovely to see you all at the December meetings. Pictures will be posted from our time together shortly.
We will open the morning with a small business meeting, followed by show and tell and the next instalment of our TECH TALK series. Jen will be sharing some tips on the Half Square Triangle – her personal favorite. For those doing the mystery quilt – this chat may be of some use to you – just saying. Then the afternoon is yours to sew the day away.
Registration for Ana’s class will continue. The class fee is $25 which is due upon registration. Registration will close in March. If you are interested in the kit please ensure Jen knows this. The kit fee is also $25.
A Study In Fabric: Mystery Quilt – The fourth clue will be given out this month. Only 2 more to go and ONE of those clues is the layout.
