2015 Edmonton Festival of Quilts

The Edmonton & District Quilters Guild is once again hosting our biennial quilt show at the Lions Senior Centre on June 13th and 14th.   We are very excited to showcase a collection of talented fibre artists that live and work in the Edmonton area, by displaying our best designs from art quilts to lap quilt to large bed quilts.  The show is spectacular every year.

For lovers of quilt and fibre arts, please join the Edmonton & District Quilters’ Guild for their biennial Quilt Show.

Hours: Saturday, June 13th, 10 am – 5 pm Sunday, June 14th, 10 am – 4 pm

Our 2015 show is promising to be our best ever yet! Quilt making and design has evolved!  Enter an exciting dimension that features beautiful art quilts, fibre art pieces, bed and lap quilts, and wall hangings. Come and be mesmerized by our quilt masters and artisans displaying their latest designs. Our display of 300+ quilts will blow your mind.

Visit our Merchant Mall packed with fabrics, notions, patterns, tools and gadgets.  Merchants from across Canada will be offering free ongoing demos of the latest techniques and patterns. Win Door prizes and giveways galore!Purchase your raffle tickets on stunning charity quilts, the proceeds going to needy charities. Attend our Breakfast Trunk Show at the Chateau Louis featuring our guest speaker  Elaine Quehl,  a Canadian quilt artist, teacher, and fabric dyer/designer who is best known for her dramatic and colourful nature-themed art quilts featuring luscious foliage (particularly hosta leaves), flowers and trees.
